Stainless steel welded wire mesh is valued for its strength, corrosion resistance, and aesthetics across various sectors. In construction, it's used for insulation, protection, decoration, and crack prevention. Agriculture employs it for fencing and seedbeds. Industrial applications include equipment protection, filtration, and safety barriers. Transport uses it for road and bridge protection. Home and office applications range from poultry cages and food baskets to decorative elements and pest control.
COMMON MATERIALS
SS 304 (AISI 304): Widely used, good corrosion resistance, suitable for indoor/mild outdoor use.
SS 316 (AISI 316): Higher corrosion resistance (molybdenum added), ideal for marine, chemical, and highly corrosive environments.
SS 316L: Low carbon 316, better weldability and corrosion resistance in welds.
SS 304L: Low carbon 304, reduces carbide precipitation during welding.
SS 430: Ferritic, lower corrosion resistance, more affordable, often used indoors or for decoration.
